Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These terms form an agreement between you and MobileCraft ("we", "us"), the provider of the AI Detector app and this website (together, the "Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. What the Service does

AI Detector estimates how likely it is that a piece of text was generated by an AI system. It returns a probability score and a supporting breakdown. It does not return proof.

Detection is statistical and imperfect. Human writing can be flagged as AI-generated and AI-generated writing can go undetected. You agree not to rely on a score as the sole basis for any decision that affects a person — including academic penalties, disciplinary action, employment decisions, or publication rejection.

3. Your responsibilities

When you use the Service, you agree that you will not:

• submit text you have no right to submit, including confidential or personal information belonging to someone else;
• use the Service to harass, defame, or discriminate against anyone;
• attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or circumvent limits on the Service;
• resell or redistribute results as your own detection service without our written permission;
• use the Service where doing so would break the law that applies to you.

You are responsible for the text you submit and for how you use the results.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the text you submit. You grant us only the limited licence needed to process that text in order to produce your result and to operate and secure the Service. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not sell it. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Purchases and subscriptions

Some features require a paid plan. Paid plans are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their terms, renewal rules, and refund policies apply. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops future charges and does not refund the current period unless the store's policy or your local law requires it.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the Service, including detection models, and we may set fair-use limits. We aim to keep the Service available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, data, reputation, or opportunities arising from your use of the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms or if your use puts the Service or other people at risk.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will give notice in the app or on this page before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
